I really enjoy teaching and helping students to achieve their musical goals. I am based in Stokes Croft, Bristol, but I mainly travel to teach students locally in their homes. I worked for two years as a drum kit teacher at a local secondary academy, and have taught privately for 5 years.
I play drums as a dep for SIX The Musical on the West End, and I am on tour this Easter as Amazonia the Dragon in The Wardrobe Ensemble's Princess Smartypants. Earlier in 2025, I worked as an associate composer for Tiny and Tall's production The Detective Dog.
Unfortunately, I don't currently have availability for new regular students.
From 2021-2024 I played drums for "Birthmarked", which was written by Brook Tate and directed by Sally Cookson and premiered at The Bristol Old Vic. I have experience teaching children, teenagers and adults, and I am happily flexible about the content of lessons. Some of my students are working towards ABRSM performance exams, some are learning songs, and others are learning theory and writing songs or composing pieces.
I have an enhanced DBS check, and I also have a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and experience supporting adults with a learning disability, with autism and with mental health difficulties.
